Adam and Emily :: Wedding Teaser

Adam and Emily had a truly phenomenal wedding last weekend at A New Leaf in Lincoln Park here in Chicago, a place from which you’ll be seeing a lot of photos from me over the next few months. I’ve been making some computer modifications this week, so I didn’t get a chance to get to their photographs until today. I’m planning to do a big post with a plethora of their stunning images on Sunday or early next week, but this one jumped out at me as I was downloading cards. Simple, yet beautiful, a lovely detail shot of Emily’s gorgeous dress and Lake Michigan, taken from a room at the always beautiful the W Lakeshore.

Oooohh, lovely image, love the light it is beautiful!
I love how you see everything - the light, the little details, what is blurry, what is crisp. You see things the way they are perceived, in little bits that we edit both as they occur and later in our memory - I can’t wait to see the whole collection of photos. You really captured how it all felt.
