Jill + Mike :: Chicago Wedding Photographer

Jill and Mike were married last weekend at Morton Arboretum in what was a relaxed and fun celebration. Jill was the most “unbride” bride I’ve ever had—really focused on trying to create an event that wasn’t stuffy or a slave to tradition. No announcements of anything made for a very laid-back day that put the emphasis more on the guests and the party, and I was so thrilled to be a part of this special day. This was my first of three weekends in a row at Morton (with a stop at the MCA in between), so look for a lot of photographs from this beautiful venue just outside of Chicago.
A few of the lovely vendors involved on this day. Jill had some of the best!
Flowers: Petal Play
Coordinator: Kate + Katie at Dettagli
Cake: Vanille (my new favourite cake vendor—also did the pastries at Julie + Matt’s Cheney Mansion wedding)
DJs: Toast + Jam
Guitarist: Luciano Antonio

I am so digging the textured and cool depth-of-field shots. Very cool stuff indeed. Thanks for sharing. Kudos.
Olivia,
I love these so much. It is so important to have a great photographer like yourself because I remember NOTHING! Can’t wait to see the rest!
These were so beatiful.
It’s nice to have the memory in living color.
