Chicago Urban Engagement Photos :: Connection Session with Allie + Jeff

Back in March, on a very cold and terrible Chicago winter day, I trudged up to the Apple Store to attend a little women + tech event. I had signed up on a whim and with the terrible weather, had little interest in going by the time the actual day rolled around, but I told myself I had to. “Maybe you’ll learn something or meet some cool women,” I said to myself. I ended up sitting in the back, chatting with three women co-workers, two of whom I’ve kept in touch with. Allie was one of them, and right after she got engaged she emailed me to set up a connection session, before they had even settled on a date or venue. We ended up shooting in the morning on the first of recent very chilly days, and I had such a great time photographing them and getting to know her wonderful fiance, Jeff. Since we scheduled the session, a date was selected and I am so excited to be shooting their wedding in July at eNvent.
