Chicago Engagement Connection Session :: Sudhir + Chrissy

The fall here in Chicago has been so wonderful! It seemed a little short-lived this year, and end-of-the-season busyness meant I didn’t get to enjoy as much time outside as I would like, but it has truly been so beautiful, so balmy and gorgeous. Sudhir, Chrissy and I went out recently to take some engagement photos in a connection session, and I just loved the way these turned out. Such a nice mix of urban photographs with the beautiful colours that we get here in the autumn. I was so happy we went to the location we did, as leaves are long gone in many parts of town, but were plentiful where we shot. Sudhir and Chrissy are such a great couple, and I really feel like these photographs communicate part of who they are. They are my very last couple of the year, and they are planning a relaxed, elegant and non-traditional wedding at the Modern Wing at the Art Institute almost exactly a month from now. I could not be more thrilled to photograph such a kind, fun and attractive couple in such a stunning and inspiring place!
