Chicago boudoir photographer - fall session

I shot several sessions this fall and winter, and as usual, absoultely loved photographing them. I just love shooting boudoir; it is so much fun on the day of, and such a positive experience for the woman being photographed, even if the original motivation is often to get a gift for a fiance or husband. Unfortunately I can’t share most of my sessions, but here are a few from the fall that I could post. These were shot in my studio in Chicago.

Chicago Boudoir Photography : Valentine’s Day Boudoir Specials!

Valentine’s Day is always one of the most popular occassions for boudoir photos, and if you’ve been procrastinating on finding an unexpected gift, I am teaming up with one of my favourite beauty companies for some amazing boudoir specials! On Sunday, January 24, myself and Krystyn Johnson of Bridal Beauty Chicago will be hosting a day of boudoir sessions at a glamourous Michigan Avenue hotel. Krystyn will beautifully style your hair and makeup, and I will photograph you in the most flattering poses for one hour in a luxurious one-bedroom suite. After the session, you will be able to view a selection of your images to create the perfect Valentine’s gift! This is also a wonderful opportunity if you are planning ahead for a wedding or anniversary gift, as these “hotel included” boudoir sessions at this fantastic price usually only come around once a year!
A $525 session fee includes:
- Hair and makeup styling by Krystyn Johnson of Bridal Beauty Chicago
- A 60-minute photo shoot with Olivia from Olivia Leigh Photographie
- Private, password-protected online gallery of all your images

Chicago boudoir photography session special this weekend!

You may have heard me periodically talking about boudoir sessions. I have been shooting these lovely sessions since the beginning of the year, and have totally fallen in love with shooting them! I am amazed every time by what an incredibly positive experience it ends up being for the women, who have ranged from size 2 to 18. Every single one comments on how much it boosted her self-esteem and confidence, even before seeing the photos! I haven’t been able to show many photographs as my clients tend to work in fields where privacy is extremely important, but I am shooting women over the next month or so who can allow more to be shown, and I can’t wait to get a full-fledged site up for Chicago boudoir photography. I am shooting a few sessions this Sunday (August 30) and Monday (August 31), and have space for about two women if anyone would like to take advantage of a boudoir session at a very special price. A luxe hotel suite will be provided, and sessions are also about half of the usual investment. This is a wonderful and very rare opportunity to have a great session in a beautiful space for a lovely price.

And here is a little blog-work-safe boudoir portrait from a quick little session I did in SF. The focus of these session is, of course, often on the body, but beautiful and sexy portraits are also featured, with an emphasis on showing off a romantic, sexy and natural side of yourself without looking like someone you’re not.
